US Stocks Fall, Cyclical Stocks Lead The way;DJIA Down 99

U.S. stocks were dragged lower by cyclical stocks as investors grew more conservative about the Federal Reserve’s attempts to stimulate the economy. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 99 points, or 0.9%, to 11073 in morning trading, while the Standard & Poor’s 500-stock index slipped nine points to 1177 and the Nasdaq Composite was off six points at 2491.
