25 Oct News | Comments

U.S. stocks opened higher on Monday as a weekend pledge by global finance officials provided some relief for investors eager to avoid a currency war. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 64 points, or 0.6%, to 11198, extending three straight weeks of gains.
